Dexter is only three months old, but his leg is fractured in four places.
That's because last Thursday, the tiny pup was thrown off an apartment balcony—and the Prince William Humane Society could use some donations to offset the cost of his $2,600 surgery. He's now wearing a cast as he recovers. No charges have been filed in the case, according to Prince William County Police.
Animal control is continuing to investigate and working to identify a suspect.
To help Dexter, and other animals like him, donate to the Society's Poor Animals Welfare and Surgical (PAWS) Fund.
Operation Confidence hopes Prince Williams County Police identify's the suspect and he/she gets a long time in jail.
