Manmohan Raj Bindra is Operation Confidence Board President

Operation  Confidence's Board President 





 Manmohan Raj Bindra was born in India and received his education with a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Delhi University. In 1970, after receiving his degree from England & Wales Institute as a Chartered Accountant  (American CPA equivalent ) he came to the USA.

Raj pursued his career as an accounting professional for 10 years with 5 years with corporate America as an auditor & systems analyst.

In the 80’s a business opportunity came his way to work in the world of Gems for which he developed a strong passion. Now he travels all over the world in search of precious and rare gemstones.

In 2010, Raj became Operation Confidence’s board president and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to launch the organization into the global community.

In 2011, Operation Confidence hosted United We Serve " A Tribute To Our Disabled Veterans". 
Mr. Bindra represented Operation Confidence and introducted the guest


Major General James Comstock spoke on behalf of Major General Peter Gravett who was the scheduled as keynote speaker. At the last minute Major General Gravett was called away by President Barack Obama to prepare for the many troops returning home from Iraq at the end of the year. 


Department Commander Gary “Doc” Rutedge gave a moving speech about the history of the Military Order of the Purple Hearts. Operation Confidence presented an award and received on from the national chapter.  


Consuella Mackey presented Colonel Gregory F. Jones, who spoke about the troops returning home that day from Iraq and was on his way to greet and welcome the troops after leaving the event. Commander Jones was from 146th Operations Group and 146th Airlift Wing located at Channel Islands Air National Guard Station, California.  .
   

Councilman Bernard Parks district includes the Los Angeles Sports Arena spoke on behalf of long time friendship with Major General Gravett and Consuella Mackey. He presented a beautiful resolution for Major General Gravett and Mr. Kim signed by the entire Los Angeles City Council. Mr. Bindra presented Councilman Parks with Operation Confidence’s Certificate of Appreciation



Rea Cichocki, State Commander for the California American Indian Veteran’s Association traveled from Sacramento, CA. to attend the event and represented the Native American Veterans and the Native American community.
